Free Android apps on the market: Music paradise

The Android app market is amazing indeed; you can find anything you need to make life a bit easier. The apps available through Android are impossible to describe in this short article; however, I wanted to share a few of my personal favorites for you consideration.

Android apps: Bible

I have seen several bibles on the Android market and have downloaded several for a day or so trying each one out to find the best one. In the final analysis the best free Android app for bibles is: “YouVersion.” This bible app has so many features that are amazing and convenient to help readers with their daily walk in Christ. It has an amazing assortment of bible studies, daily readers, daily meditation guides, Etc. The bible app allows you to set the translation you wish to read in. It has a section for keeping notes, bookmarks, sharing, live chat, and website support. If you looking for a free Android bible app then this is the one!

Android apps: eReaders

The eBook market is in full bloom and continues to grow. I was in a Best Buy store the other day looking for a new laptop and the entire department had been remodeled to accommodate the selection of “eReaders.” Folks, this is the way of the future. I know, I will always want to hold a traditional printed book in my hands on occasion as well, but, eBooks are a wonderful new technology. One of the eReader apps that I found for free that has amazing features and a great selection of free eBooks is “Aldiko.” This free Android app has some feature that even “Amazon Kindle” does not have. This app has great graphics, a book shelf style library for your personal downloads and it has a store. Also, all the great bookmarking features as well as day and night reading and it will save to you SD card. One final note--if the reader holds his/her finger on any word the app will give a definition from either the dictionary or a Google search--Amazon Kindle does not have this feature!

Android apps: Music

This is a real personal area if there ever was one: Music! I know everyone thinks their personal music app is the best and I am no different except I tried several and this one truly has the best features. The app is called “Music Paradise.” It is a free Android app and it allows free mp3 downloads with minimal ads. I like this app because it has great graphics which technically does not matter but makes for a more pleasant experience. I have yet to put a song or band in the search engine and not find it! This includes songs from the sixties, seventies, and of course (my generation) the eighties. You can set songs as a ringtone, share them, archive them on the app, and they also save (automatically) on to your phones music player. This really is an awesome app for finding free mp3`s. To hell with Apple and iTunes!!

Android apps: Personal choice

This last app I will share with you is one of my personal favorites and it falls under the sleep therapy category. It is called “Rain Sounds.” If you love to have the sound of rain playing in the background while you sleep your gonna love this app. The app is simple to use and has no annoying pop-ups. It has more than a dozen different rain sounds ranging from a thunderstorm to the sound of rain on an umbrella. It has a timer and volume control as well.

There are millions of apps but I wanted to share a few that I have personally used in hopes to help you make a choice. The ratings on these apps can be bias and fake at times. Developers will have associates come and rate their apps which skew the actual performance of an app. I have downloaded apps with high ratings only to find they were horrible, buggy, and ate up front end memory. Hopefully my personal experience with these apps will help with your choice!
